National Boys & Girls Club Week is April 9-13, and in celebration, Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is proud to recognize the Club staff who help more than 7,000 local youth across Sarasota County excel in school, become leaders, live healthy lifestyles and create plans for success after high school graduation. While our organization employs nearly 200 individuals at five Boys & Girls Club locations, Kim Cruz has been a dedicated Youth Development Professional at the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club in North Port for more than 10 years.
"Ms. Kim has helped our Club members achieve their full potential by being caring to their needs, consistent in her actions, reliable in her advice and setting the example that you can do anything," said Wayne Ard, Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club Director.
