Eight Club members recently received Regional Art Awards from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and now we're thrilled to announce that Brittany, a 16-year-old member from the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club, won National recognition for her graphic design piece called, "The Place That Gives Me Life."
Brittany is a sophomore at North Port High School and was named the 2015-2016 Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year. She is an amazing role model for youth and says that she feels like she belongs at the Boys & Girls Club.
"It is my home," said Brittany. "The people here are my family."
