As I prepare to relocate to begin a career with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, I have been reflecting on my ten years at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties.
One of the pillars of The Club is advocacy. We strive to instill in young people not only the tools they need to advocate for what they believe in, but the tools they need to advocate for themselves.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties celebrated 90 graduating seniors of the class of 2022 from local high schools at the annual Senior Celebration on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
